The Cape Cod Center for the Arts produced a 27 print limited edition on panel and framed using a state of the art giclee printing process that yields a print of very high quality that is difficult to distinguish from an original. Print by Elizabeth Mumford ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Congratulations to Kevin and Barbara Price, the winners of the CCCArts' Raffle! This lovely limited edition print of the Cape Playhouse, signed and numbered by the original artist, Elizabeth Mumford, was raffled off by the Board of Trustees, spearheaded by Assistant Treasurer Richard B. Hawes, Jr. Elizabeth Mumford is a very well-known Cape Cod Artist who paints in a whimsical style. Each painting is surrounded with her signature black border with a verse in bronze and stenciled scallop shells at the corners. In 2000, Ms. Mumford was commissioned to produce a painting of the Cape Playhouse to commemorate its 75th anniversary. The original painting was sold for more than $ 8,000. The Cape Cod Center for the Arts produced a 27 print limited edition on panel and framed using a state of the art giclee printing process that yields a print of very high quality that is difficult to distinguish from an original. The Cape Cod Center for the Arts owes a great debt of gratitude to each participating Board Member who volunteered their time to sell the raffle tickets and especially the Event Manager, Assistant Treasurer Richard B. Hawes, Jr.
